Shout! for one person

No admin? No problem.

You don't need anyone's permission to start. Install Shout! for yourself, add it to the spaces you care about, and page a whole room with @Shout! !oncall. When the rest of the company wants in, an administrator flips one switch and the @Shout! part goes away.

Free. Three spaces. Yours in about a minute.

!Reach a room you're not in

You're in #general, the answer lives in Design. @Shout! !design-team and everyone there gets it, with your message and a link back. No copying, no forwarding, no "hey did anyone see".

Nothing to babysit

The notification carries your name and your words, and links back to where you wrote them. The space replies where you were. You don't have to watch two threads.

Grows into the real thing

The day an administrator installs Shout! for the organization, your @Shout! becomes optional, webhooks and pipelines start shouting on their own, and nothing in your spaces has to be redone.

🔒Only your organization

Shout! never notifies across organizations, and guests in a space can't page your teams.

Why the @Shout!?

Because Google only shows an individually installed app the messages that address it. That's a Google rule, and it's a reasonable one. An administrator install grants Shout! read-only access to messages in the spaces it's in, which is what lets it see a bare !name from a person or a webhook. Until then, address it and it works the same.
