You can install Shout! yourself if your organization allows it. Add it to your project and team spaces, then use @Shout! !design-team to ask Design for a review.
Free for 10 spaces per organization. Your Workspace app policy still applies.

Getting started
Add Shout! to both spaces.
- Install Shout! for yourself from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
- Add it to the space you’ll send from and the team space you want to reach, using Apps & integrations.
- Read the welcome message for the team’s shout name. A space called Design Team gets
!design-team. - Send
@Shout! !design-team your messagefrom your project space.
Everyone in the team space can read the quote. The link back opens for people who have access to the source conversation.
Before you install
What an individual install includes
You can send team shouts to spaces in your organization. The Free plan’s 10-space allowance is shared across the organization, including spaces used by other people who install Shout!.
Messages from bots and webhooks need an admin install. Your individual install receives only the messages that address @Shout! directly.
If your Workspace policy blocks app installations, ask an administrator to approve Shout!. The install guide covers both options.
When more teams want to use it
An admin can install it for your organization.
Your existing spaces keep working. People can use !name without mentioning the app, and automations can send shouts on every plan.
Paid plans add more spaces, custom aliases, and urgent shouts with !!name that bypass Google Chat’s Do Not Disturb setting. On Free, !!name is delivered as a standard shout. An administrator manages the plan and billing.
